So Tara is home for Thanksgiving, and we thought we would give her a car. We got a white 1995 Toyota Corolla that has no stereo, no power locks, no power windows, and will eternally smell like cigarette smoke. Here she is sitting in the passenger seat because she doesn't actually know how to drive a manual...
...but she happily gave it a whirl anyway

It was tara-fying (hehe)

Tara-fying! That's hilarious! I will have to teach her how to drive it. That's a very nice car.
Yay!!! New news! Tell her Grandpa will teach her how to drive it (if she doesn't mind the person in the passenger seat riding with his hand on the emergency brake and saying, "Stop. Stop! STOP!!" Sound familiar?
I'm glad to see that Spencer is not dead in ALL of the pictures...
Hey, I remember the "Stop" thing! I think that's why he only took me out driving one time. Thank goodness for great home teachers!
Sara, I love you! Has Spencer told you that today?
No Jeny, with you it was left, Left, LEFT!
I'm so sorry that all of you suffered so terribly in learning to drive. But, now each of you has taught a child to drive (except Amy). Are you not more empathetic toward me, now?????? I, too, am extremely grateful for good loving home teachers.
Amy, they still say "left, Left, LEFT!!". Someday, maybe in the next life, I will figure it out!
NICE WHEELS. I'll send some smelly things for Christmas! :)
